Resumen

El presente artículo recoge las reflexiones de la conferencia ofrecida en 2014 en la ciudad de Turín durante la V Jornada de Poesía Contemporánea Española. Más que una exposición teórica se ofrecen “reflexiones de taller”, definiciones de la práctica que acompaña al oficio poético. Escribir es autoconocimiento y autodefinición ante uno mismo y ante los demás, justificación vital y epitafio. Y la metapoesía es aquella poesía que se tiene a sí misma como asunto, en tanto que reflexión sobre las implicaciones de la escritura. Porque escribir poesía no es una actitud de un solo estrato, sino que admite un segundo discurso que paralela y simultáneamente exponga lo que el autor piensa y siente acerca de la propia actividad literaria o acerca de los textos mismos que está escribiendo. Si nos planteamos la sustitución de la realidad por el lenguaje, estamos no sólo ante el autoconsumo consolatorio de ese lenguaje, sino ante su segunda justificación posible: la supuesta trascendencia por medio de la escritura de la gavilla de emociones y de reflexiones que llamamos “yo”.

This article presents the reflections of the conference offered in 2014 in the city of Turin during the V Wokshop of Contemporary Spanish Poetry. More than a theoretical exposition, "workshop reflections" are offered, definitions of the practice that accompanies the poetic craft. Writing is self-knowledge and self-definition before oneself and before others, vital justification and epitaph. And metapoetry is that poetry that has itself as a subject, as a reflection on the implications of writing. Because writing poetry is not a single-stratum attitude, but rather admits a second discourse that parallel and simultaneously exposes what the author thinks and feels about his own literary activity or about the texts he is writing. If we consider the substitution of reality for language, we are not only before the consoling self-consumption of that language, but also before its second possible justification: the supposed transcendence by means of the writing of the sheaf of emotions and reflections that we call “me”.
