Sull'asíndeto fra aggettivi attributi in àrabo letterario

Abstract

Asyndeton between attributive adjectives in literary Arabic is examined in its two basic functions, determinative and coordinative, and particular prominence is given to the restrictive or non-restrictive function of attribute. The use of the coordinator wa between attributive adjectives is regarded (apart from distributive contexts) as having a simple general disambiguating function, i. e. of making clear that there is coordination, and not determination.
