Author Guidelines

 

Authorship and copyright

Visions for Sustainability is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License. All contributions are free of any fees or charges for the authors and will be free to be copied, distributed, displayed and performed. This is valid only for verbatim copies of the work, not derivative works based on it, only for noncommercial purposes. Credits must be acknowledged in the manner the author or licensor specifies.Authors remain the sole owner of the work and any request for use for commercial purposes must be addressed to the corresponding author. 

Authors can submit only papers in their own complete ownership. Papers already published elsewhere can be submitted only if previous editors have not acquired copyright of the work. Before publishing, authors will be asked to sign a statement of complete ownership of the paper (in that the work described has not been published previously or the previous editor does not detain the copyright), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere (or that the journal in which the publication in under evaluation does not detain the copyright), that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out.

 

Further author declarations

All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations within three years of beginning the submitted work that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, their work.

Authors are requested to identify who provided financial support for the conduct of the research and/or preparation of the article and to briefly describe the role of the sponsor(s), if any, in study design; in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data; in the writing of the report; and in the decision to submit the article for publication. If the funding source(s) had no such involvement then this should be stated.

Before the accepted manuscript is published, an online request to add or remove an author, or to rearrange the author names, can be sent to the editorial group from the corresponding author of the accepted manuscript and must include a written confirmation (e-mail, fax, letter) from all authors that they agree with the addition, removal or rearrangement.

 

Submission guidelines

Please prepare the manuscript according to the following guidelines. Then create an accountand follow the steps in the submission form. Please remember to indicate the field(s) within which the paper falls, the issue(s) dealt with and the type(s) of perspective proposed, according to the Aims and Scope of the journal.

 

Cover page

The cover page of the manuscript should contain the following information:

- Title.

- Author names and affiliations. Please provide the e-mail address and full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name.

- Corresponding author. Please clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication.

- Abstract.

- Key words.

 

Contributions and acknowledgements

This section should be separate at the end of the article before the references. Where appropriate, please specify the contribution of each author to the manuscript (e.g. preparing the experimental design, writing the draft, contributing to specific chapter, preparing artwork, etc.). Then acknowledge those individuals who provided help during the research (e.g., providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.).

The adopted style is APA Style. Citations in the text are indicated by last name of first author included in brackets. References listed at the end of the text are in alphabetical order.
